Grayes started in 1985 with just 25 pupils, and now, with all the teachers' hard work and dedication you will see the high standard we have set and how much the school has grown! I believe the secret to our success is the dedication and marvellous training from all our teachers, as nowhere else have I known a team with such expertise and professionalism that work hard together and have a lot of fun at the same time! We are all good friends and that is what makes Grayes the unique school it has become.
We are constantly striving to make sure Grayes sets the high standards for all our students to enable them to shine and grow to the best of their ability as performers. We continue to produce outstanding exam and competition results with 100% pass rate. The higher levels of ISTD exams taken earn our students UCAS points for University entry which is a fantastic achievement.
With the exceptional training Grayes offers, students are gaining dance & drama places at selective secondary state schools. We also have students auditioning every year and winning 6th form places to study many different courses at The BRIT School. They train hard alongside their classes with us at Grayes securing the best possible training. Every year we have students winning places at Vocational Colleges, studying their craft, working hard and showing their determination and spirit carried forward from their Grayes days.
Many students are currently 'treading the boards', or in full-time training at Vocational Colleges showing that Grayes gives our students an excellent foundation for a professional career. Grayes students have performed in London's 'West End' and around the world having finished their Vocational training. Such an achievement and something we are all delighted of and so proud of at Grayes.
Grayes students have been lucky enough to be invited by the ISTD to be 'bodies' for Examiner Training. We are also featured in the ISTD Official Syllabus DVD's. We have always been proud to be able to offer dance training both as a hobby and to a standard required for college entry, training our students to their full potential. Grayes' goal is to ensure the best training in a safe and happy environment, adding to an enjoyable childhood for our students, making new friends out of the school environment and helping them gain the confidence to strive in any chosen career path they may chose. We are not your usual dance school, Grayes is a special unique place where we train to the highest standard and create fantastic opportunities for our students.
