Ballet

At Grayes, we follow the Ballet Syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. These exciting syllabi range in levels suitable for children as young as 2½ years old up to Vocational Examinations to prepare students for entry into full time training. We offer classes from Babies up to Advanced 2 level.

Pupils are worked towards examinations to complete each grade. A good ballet technique is the basis for all styles of dance and will improve a child's sense of poise, grace and elegance. In their ballet class the students will learn correct alignment and placing of the body and gain an appreciation of music and artistry within a disciplined environment.

Through our training we have supported students to successfully audition winning places with The Royal Ballet, Elmhurst Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, Ballet Boost and Tring Park.
