L-A has trained in dance since the age of 2. She attended her local dance school and gained ISTD examinations in all genres, as well as Musical Theatre, singing and acting classes.

Performing in festivals, shows and pantomimes was L-A's passion and her motivation and drive has allowed her to achieve so much in her chosen career. Originally from Scotland L-A moved to London at the age of 16 to pursue her dream of performing after winning a place at the renowned Arts Educational School, London on the 3 year Musical Theatre Course.

During L-A's final year at Arts Ed, she was cast by Qdos entertainment as Cinderella for the Millennium year back home in Edinburgh.

She went on to perform in many West End shows and work for Qdos for a number of years before giving into her main passion.......teaching.

L-A has been the Principal at Grayes for the last 17 years since following in Cathy's footsteps and is loving every minute of it.

The level of teaching here at Grayes is outstanding and second to none! The teachers are in a league of their own and the training offered to students is that required of a professional college.

Many friends are to be made through Grayes and hopefully many special memories along the way.

Sam trained at Grayes from a very young age, spending most of her free time in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz and Hip-hop classes. Whilst at Grayes, Sam performed in many shows and competed in a number of festivals. Grayes felt like a second home!

At the age of 16, Sam auditioned and gained a place on the Dance course at The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. She studied for a two year National Diploma.

Whilst studying and attending her own classes at Grayes, Sam started assisting with the younger classes and this is when she realised her passion lay with teaching. After college, Sam went on to study for her ISTD teaching qualifications and is thrilled to say she has made the transition from Student to Teacher at the School she loves!

Sam has been entering students into the ISTD ballet awards annually, with students gaining places in the finals. With her support and training, many of her ballet students have gained places on prestigious associate and full time courses such as The Royal Ballet, Elmhurst, Central School of Ballet and Ballet Boost. 

In 2016 Sam trained with the renowned Body Control Pilates Association and became a Matwork Pilates instructor. She is thrilled to have been able to bring this discipline to Grayes to help the students broaden their understanding and technique. Sam continues to study by attending regular workshops and training courses. 

Freya trained at The Centre Performing Arts College, on leaving she continued to train in various styles prominently working in the hip hop theatre and commercial sector of the industry. 

Freya is the West End and International Associate choreographer of SIX - The Musical setting up and maintaining productions worldwide, including Australia and Korea. Notable choreography works include - Associate choreographer on ''A funny thing happened on the way to the forum'' (Lido, Paris); Associate choreographer on ''The Merry Widow'' Glyndebourne Opera; Associate choreographer on The Next Generation (Royal Festival Hall); Jeeves and Wooster (West End); ZooNation's Groove on Down the Road (Wolverhampton); FFS (Arts Depot) and The Realness (Hackney Down Studios). 

As a dancer, credits include - Capital Summer Time Ball (Wembley Arena); iTunes Festival (Roundhouse) and MTV Malta, all of which dancing for Kiesza. Breakin' Convention (Sadler's Wells); Back to the Lab (Sadler's Wells), work with hip hop theatre companies such as ZooNation,, Birdgang, Boadicea and three UK Arena tours with DIVERSITY. Freya also enjoys teaching at many leading Vocational dance colleges across the UK. 

Emily trained at the Centre Performing Arts College, since graduating Emily has continued to train in various dance styles primarily working in the Contemporary, Hip Hop and Opera sectors of the industry. 

In 2014 she joined Chrysalis London Contemporary Company, founded by Artistic Director Jodie Blemings. In 2016 she was appointed Rehearsal Director, since joining the company she has danced at London Fashion Week, Shoreditch house, Soho Farmhouse, Bernie Grant Theatre, Rich Mix London, Central St Martins Platform theatre in 'Lilith' and the film Patient Zero. 

Emily is also a memeber of Boy Blue Entertainment directed and founded by Kenrick 'H20' Sandy and composer Michael 'Mikey J' Asante. She has performed with the company at Breakin' Convention Sadlers Wells, Dancers Delight, World of Dance, Break Out and Live Vibe.

She has most recently been working as a Dancer at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, under the director Oliver Mears and Movement director Anna Morrissey in the Operas Rigoletto and Jeptha. She has performed at Latitude festival, and Hampton Court Palace, with Historic Royal Palaces all choreographed by Anna Morrissey. 

As well as dancing and teaching at Vocational Colleges and Summer Schools across the UK and Italy, Emily also choreographs solos for the Youth American Grand Prix Competition (Top 12 Junior Contemporary solo Barcelona 2023), Performance Platform (winner 2024), UK Young Classical Dancer (winner 2023) and the All England Competition. 

Liam trained at Performers College in Essex graduating in July 2014 with a Diploma in Dance Theatre. He holds his Licentiate qualification in both Tap and Modern and DDI in Ballet. He is also a qualified teacher in Acrobatic Arts and has been teaching the world renowned syllabus for 10 years now and this is where he has found his true passion for teaching. 

Liam is the owner and founder of Elite Acro Dance Associates which is the first WORLD champion associates programme which offers monthly intensive lessons to students around the country and they were lucky enough to compete and gain medals at DWC 2023 and 2024 as well as dancing with Kimberly Wyatt, performing at Move It and Rush Dance Championships too. 

He has also choreographed many different solos, duets and group numbers with great success in competitions and showcases with the highlight being asked to teach at Move It. Liam has choreographed medal winning dances and Acro pieces for Dance World Cup in the last 4 years. 

Since graduating Liam taught at many well established Dance Schools and Vocational Colleges including Wilkes Academy, Performers College, AcroPAD, Italia Conti Academy and Arts Centre to name a few. 

Liam was part of the England team that took part in the IDO World Tap Championships in 2011 and 2012. He was lucky enough to captain the team in 2012 and brought home silver medals both years. He has also appeared on Sky 1's 'Got To Dance' where he got through to the semi finals. Liam has performed at Wembley in the FA Cup Final 2013 and appeared in the film 'Cuban Fury', released in 2014. He was also a feature dancer in the film 'Make Way' in 2018 and took part in the 10 year gala show of Tap Attack in 2019 too. Other performance credits also include 'Move It' and the BBC Dance Proms. 

He has continued to expand his knowledge by studying for the Back Handspring and Aerial course with Acrobatic Arts and gained his Level 2 qualification. 

Amy trained at Grayes Theatre Arts from a young age where she loved taking classes in all genres. Whilst at Grayes Amy took her ISTD examinations, competed in numerous festivals and danced in First Family's Panotmime of Cinderella at Richmond Theatre. 

Whilst attending Grayes, Amy began assisting in the younger dance classes and quickly realised she wanted to become a dance teacher! After completing her A-Levels, which included A-level Dance and BTEC Performing Arts, Amy went on to study for her ISTD teaching qualifications. 

Amy continued her studies to gain a First Class Bachalor of Arts Degree in Professional Practice of Arts (Dance) where she researched the positive impact dance can have on SEND students. 

Amy thoroughly enjoys being part of the Grayes team and share her love of dance with the students. 

Liberty began her training at Grayes Theatre Arts where she found her love and passion for dance at a young age and from there she moved to study at the Brit School for 4 years. Liberty's next step led her to train professionally at Performers College. Since graduating, Liberty has taught dance, musical theatre and acting in the local area, whilst also pursuing her acting professionally. 

Kathryn began her dance training at Grayes Theatre Arts in all genres where she developed her love for dance and musical theatre. Whilst at Grayes Theatre Arts she performed in professional pantomines with First Family Entertainment. Alongside Grayes, Kathryn studied at the Brit School for 2 years, gaining a Diploma in Musical Theatre. Kathryn is currently training professionally at Laines Theatre Arts. 

Kathryn is thrilled to become part of the teaching team at Grayes Theatre Arts. 

Charlotte found her love for performing after becoming a pupil at Grayes since the age of 3.

She then went on to gaining a place and continuing her training at the Brit School, alongside her classes at Grayes, and has most recently graduated from Performers College gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre and Dance.

Charlotte is thrilled to be teaching at Grayes, back where it all started. 

Since 3 years old Georgia has always been performing and has competed in festival competitions around the UK for several years growing up. Georgia was also a finalist in Miss Dance for Great Britain 3 years running and was awarded the vocal award when performing in the Grand Finals at the Winter Gardens Theatre in Blackpool. 

Whilst training at the Guilford School of Acting (GSA) some of Georgia's credits include: Dick Whittington (Yvonne Arnoud Theatre), Roles We'll Never Play (Union Theatre), Children of Eden 30th Anniversary, West End Does Love (Cadogan Hall) and most recently 'Dandini' in Nottingham Playhouse's Cinderella. 

Since graduating GSA Georgia has been teaching at dance and theatre schools around London in musical theatre, jazz and singing. During the summer, Georgia had the pleasure of teaching some of the amazing Grayes students and is so excited to continue working with them and be part of the fabulous Grayes team!
